Shown in the CIAO Container in Bremen, this installation consists of 40 individual images forming a collective whole. Like a song that is played on repeat it can be revisited multiple times, each time offering something yet unnoticed to be uncovered.

Sigrid Unterwurzacher

Sigrid Unterwurzacher (*1993) is a painter, illustrator and designer who grew up in the Austrian alps and lives and works in Bremen.

To her painting is an attempt at giving form to something unknown, something inner, that is not there for anyone’s eyes to see until it comes into being, confined within the rectangular shape that is the image. It can also be an attempt at recording, holding on to and giving form to states of emotion, body or memory.
