Dry Wave (2024)

A ship floats on the endless river and in the closed pool there is my body. The pool is filled only with the idea of water, just an empty space for myself. Little by little, I become aware of where I am. The transparent membrane that keeps me away from the humid air outside vibrates and transmits my movements to the hull.

The pool is covered with wire and transparent film and contact microphones are attached to it. The water of the river, recorded by the contact microphones, begins to flow out of the vessel and as I move to react to it, an intense sound emerges. The audience could move freely inside and outside the ship and observe the performance from above.
